I spent most of 2016 sharpening my animation skills, designing for digital brands, and concepting unique mobile interactions. Of 26 projects I worked on, here are a few stand-outs from this year.

I was brought on board to concept and develop a brand identity for a global technology conference. *note: I replaced all instances of the company name with gergwerk branding*

Vima Glasses – Phone App: UX / IxD / Visual Design / Motion Design
Stroboscopic training is aimed at enhancing athlete performance through visual memory and hand-eye coordination. Vima’s sport goggles rapidly strobe on and off in order to train player’s brains to anticipate where to catch, hit, and throw. I had the opportunity to design a mobile app that allows coaches or athletes to control the strobe frequency (visual quotient) of the glasses. Athletes can also review specific training videos in-app and track their progress over time.

Amazon Quicksight
I created UX, wireframes, visual language, and animated svg icons for Quicksight’s new site. Using svg animations helps drastically cut down on file size, wont pixelate when scaling to multiple screen sizes, and is easy to implement with your code.

Amazon Webminster campaign
Amazon announced its new London office by taking over the famous Westminster station. As a play on words, the station was changed to Webminster for an entire week. I designed and illustrated a set of 8 posters that promoted partnerships with Amazon and government services.
