CONTEXT—
Announced at CES 2026, Lenovo and Motorola Qira is a personal ambient intelligence that is embedded at the system level. Qira is the first AI that is unified across PCs, tablets, smartphones, and wearables.
ROLES: UX MOTION LEAD // UX // INTERACTION DESIGN—
Embedded within the cross-device intelligence team, I was responsible for creating a consistent motion ecosystem that works across each device type. This included creating the motion principles, patterns, and tokens that define the motion system.

ENTRY POINTS
Many surfaces.
One motion vocabulary.
Qira runs across the full Lenovo × Motorola device ecosystem. Each surface required a tailored motion approach while maintaining a single, coherent intelligence feel.
Six features.
All Choreographed.
Qira’s core behaviors each needed a distinct motion signature, recognizable across surfaces but never repetitive. Each feature lives inside a persistent prompt bar that itself required its own entry, idle, and exit choreography. Here are some features I designed motion patterns for.
Drop into Chat Mode and pick up right where you left off on all your devices. Lenovo Qira remembers your previous conversations, documents, and messages.
Talk one on one with Lenovo Qira in Live Mode. Even share your screen or camera for help with things like work, wayfinding around town, or advice on household projects.
Keep tabs on your notifications then respond right in the moment with Catch Me Up.
With Pay Attention, Lenovo Qira records, live translates, and summarizes your meetings and classes.
Write smarter wherever you’re typing. Turn your big ideas into better writing in seconds with Write for Me.
Create and edit images in Creator Zone, even use your PC’s local AI power to generate images.
Shipped at CES 2026.
Rolling out Q1.
Qira launched to a standing-room crowd at The Sphere in Las Vegas, Lenovo’s biggest stage yet. Qira is now live on select Lenovo devices with OTA upgrades for existing Lenovo AI Now users, and Motorola smartphone rollout following shortly after.
