Gill Sans Mailer
Project: School Assignment
Class: Typography III
2008
_
Eric Gill set out to create the most legible san-sarif typeface after apprenticing with the father of modern calligraphy, Edward Johnston. The two worked on the famous London Underground typeface, Johnston Sans. Once completed, Gill said he could make a fool-proof monotype. This typographic mailer is designed to visualize his response, The Gill Sans typeface.
